Jacqui was trained as a birth doula by ToLabor and as a full spectrum support person by the Boston Doula Project, now the Boston Abortion Support Collective. She created Holding Our Space in 2016 with a grant from the Abortion Conversation Project as a way to honor the loss of her second pregnancy. Holding Our Space seeks to create non-religious spaces where people can process their reproductive experiences through therapeutic activities and discussion, in community.
Jacqui is a student of yoga and has been studying meditation for many years. She lives with her husband, two sons, cats named Sherman and Stella, and a fish sometimes known as Pudge. Jacqui is grateful to also offer writing & meditation classes through Brookline Adult & Community Education.
