The Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills Class consists of 4 modules - Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness - and is designed for adolescents who struggle with anxiety, emotion dysregulation, impulsive behaviors, and relationship difficulties. It is recommended that participants engage in all 4 modules totaling 16 sessions, two of which are online multi-family classes to inform caregivers about the skills being taught and provide information on how to support their adolescent with using DBT at home.
