Cheryl Perreault has been, and continues to be, the heart and soul of the artistically inspired programming produced at Hopkinton's Television Station, HCAM-TV. From "Women's Art Forum" to "Wake Up and Smell the Poetry" to special presentations, she encourages all to participate in and share their personal work. From professional artists to everyday folk, she is warmly and authentically receptive and affirming of all. In addition, her love of community also expresses itself on her series "Meet Your Neighbor", which is an important show that targets HCAM's core mission, to connect our community. Cheryl Perreault has many faces and talents. Educated as a psychologist she is a teacher and practitioner of life. Her talents include guiding others in writing their stories and poetry by giving meaningful elegance to the lives of the elderly, those struggling with addiction and Alzheimer's and the rest of us who may have forgotten how to give voice to our feelings.

Cheryl Perreault has a background in psychology and is a spoken word artist of poetry and story. She has taught a number of courses in psychology and presently teaches The Psychology of Women at Boston University. Cheryl also honors the art of sharing our life-stories with one another... in writing life review and stories with hospice patients, in providing programming for local storytelling venues and in her work as host and coproducer of the Meet Your Neighbor show at HCAM-TV. Additionally, she is founder/host and co-producer of a monthly Saturday morning program known as Wake up and Smell the Poetry at HCAM-TV Studios in Hopkinton which offers monthly programs of "awakening" to the art of poetry, story and song for community.
