I love supporting people in slowing down and listening to their bodies, cultivating embodied self-awareness and self-acceptance, and exploring how awareness and movement can help decrease stress, pain, and limitations. I have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy and over 30 years of experience as a therapist and teacher of body-mind approaches to movement and health. I am certified as a Feldenkrais® Practitioner, SomaSoul® Somatic Therapist, Core Movement Integration Teacher, and Kripalu Yoga Instructor. I teach classes and have a private practice in Wayland, MA.
The Feldenkrais Method is an awareness-based and body-focused learning process that uses verbally-guided, gentle movement explorations to help people find more comfortable, stress-free ways of moving and doing daily activities.
The Feldenkrais Method can be experienced through:
1. GROUP CLASSES called 'Awareness Through Movement®' (ATM) lessons that help you
• Reduce stiffness, aches, pains, and stress
• Befriend your body and cultivate Body-Mind awareness
• Improve balance, posture, and ease of movement
• Feel more relaxed and connected, head to toe
2. INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS: Guided mindfulness, movement, and self-inquiry are tailored to each individual's needs. Currently all individual sessions are via Zoom.
